The LG P1861RWN9T is a semi automatic twin tub washing machine with an 18kg capacity. One tub washes, the other spins, and you move the clothes across yourself. That also means you can start spinning a finished load while the next one is already washing.

Both lids sit on top, so the machine can go against a wall in a narrow laundry area or on a back porch and still open fully.
  • Big items go in whole. The 18kg drum takes bedsheets, curtains and work clothes without splitting them into small loads.
  • Washing and spinning happen side by side. The twin tub layout gives you a separate wash tub and spin tub, so a finished load drains while the next one is still going.
  • Dirt gets scrubbed out, not just rinsed. The Roller Jet Pulsator moves clothes against the water for a working scrub.
  • Stubborn stains get time to loosen. The Soak function lets heavily soiled clothes sit in detergent before the wash starts.
  • Simple to run. Everything is set on mechanical dials along the top panel, with no digital menus to work through.

The ribbed plastic body wipes down with a damp cloth, which matters for a machine that often lives outside the kitchen.

LG also lists a BEE star rating for this model. Check the rating plate on the unit for the electrical details before installing.
